Kurrent Logic is not a typical government contractor. Our employees and leaders have decades of experience working with Homeland Security and we know what it takes to deliver for our DHS customers, civilian or law enforcement. Working with Kurrent Logic will reveal a group of talented, motivated and personable staff that don’t just show up, get the job done, and go home. We establish deep relationships with our customers so that they can come to us in any situation, at any time, and trust that they will get honest advice along with top notch support.
Kurrent Logic has designed, developed and maintained many types of mission critical applications. Our core competency is in .NET and the Microsoft stack, along with Java and other specialized proprietary technologies. Most applications include complete capabilities across both the desktop and mobile devices such as tablets and cell phones.
Our employees are all well versed in the Agile approach to software development and the SCRUM methodology. Informal training sessions are held among teammates and formal training is available and reimbursed by the company when certifications have been earned. Maximizing the amount of work not done (an Agile principle) helps us deliver cost effective solutions while minimizing wasted time and unnecessary activities.
We can provide highly effective project management services to organizations, with minimal overhead. Several employees are certified Project Managers or Certified Agile Practitioners and they impart the key principles of Agile Project Management to all employees.
Kurrent Logic takes great pride in providing value to its customers relative to its competition. All employees are schooled in the Agile/SCRUM methodology with several officially certified as PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) by the Project Management Institute. Mature processes are in place and new best practices are constantly being sought out and integrated into our approach. Kurrent Logic has delivered cost effective systems integration in the Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time + Materials (T&M) environments with great success.
We boast a wide variety of successful projects.
The Kurrent Logic team designed and developed an application to manage and track all vehicles owned by an international law enforcement agency. The solution replaced an opaque legacy paper process and is now available on desktop and mobile, allowing for more accurate recording of data and transactions. The solution has been so successful that it is currently being looked at for adoption by several sister agencies. Additionally, those managing our contract in 2016 were given the highest honor at for this Program, the Directors award.
Kurrent Logic has successfully performed multiple large scale conversions of legacy websites into functional SharePoint intranet portals. These projects allow for the leveraging of existing investments in Microsoft technologies in order to replace and retire legacy systems that create a financial and resource drag on their agencies.
Kurrent Logic is always on the move and developing our clientele. Check back soon for more details.
